SugarToad Presents the Sustainable Supper in honor of Earth Hour.

 

At eight-thirty on March 19th, people and businesses around the world will be turning out the lights in a show of support for Earth Hour.  Hotel Arista and SugarToad will once again be joining them, and when the building goes dark at the appointed hour, a romantic candlelit dinner experience will commence.  The Sustainable Supper is a unique and delightful evening in support of a good cause.

 

“SUSTAINABLE SUPPER” MENU

ROMANTIC FOUR COURSE CANDLELIGHT DINNER $45 PER PERSON

 

First Course

Sustainably farmed Rushing Waters trout from Palymra Wisconsin, sautéed a la meunière and served over Nichols Farm white and red bean broth

 

Second Course

Roasted hen of the woods, lemon-sage nage, charred asparagus tips, black garlic oil

 

Third Course

Spanish paella for two. Crafted with house-made merguez sausage utilizing trim by-products from our locally sourced Slagel Farms domestic lamb, shrimp, free-range chicken, and little neck clams

 

dessert Course

House-churned vanilla bean ice cream using locally sourced milk, DAGOBA chocolate chili sauce, locally sourced whipped cream, tuile cookie made with locally sourced eggs, and candied baby beets from Chef’s Garden in Northern Ohio
