ALS 5k hosted by Commercial Credit Group coming to CityGate Centre

Commercial Credit Group, Inc., whose office is at 2135 CityGate Ln., will host a 5k Saturday, Oct. 18, at the 31-acre CityGate Centre campus to raise funds for ALS research.

Following Commercial Credit Group Executive Vice President Don Pokorny's diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) last year, colleagues in Chicagoland and Charlotte, NC have rallied around him with an outpouring of support.

A statement shared by Commercial Credit Group describes Pokorny's impact on the company and its clients:

Don has spent his career dedicating himself to the success of others, and now it’s our turn to support him. Don has been an integral part of Commercial Credit Group, Inc., since joining the company in 2005. His journey here has been nothing short of impressive, earning the respect of all who have had the privilege to work with him. This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting ALS Research and individuals needing support.

Registration to participate in the 5k is full, demonstrating the lives Pokorny's touched. However donations still can be made online.
