Two CITYGATE eateries named OpenTable Diners' Choice winners

Two CITYGATE restaurants, CityGate Grille, the USDA Prime steakhouse which turns 10 later this year, and Che Figata, the Italy-to-table restaurant and fresh market that opened less than a year ago have been named a 2019 Diners' Choice winner by OpenTable. OpenTable Diner's Choice winners are selected according to real feedback from dinners who booked through the platform and dined at the restaurant.

This win is one of several for CityGate Grille and comes on the heels of Che Figata winning the Loaves & Fishes Chefs Showdown on April 17.

Beyond its USDA Prime meat and seafood, CityGate Grille offers Greek specialties including the popular avgolemono soup, a Greek chicken, lemon and orzo soup; moussaka, a breaded eggplant with seasoned ground beef and lamb; pastitsio, often described as a "Greek lasagna"; and other Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

In addition to an expansive menu of authentic Italian delights, Che Figata features a wine list of more than 100 Italian wines available for table service and sold packaged at its fresh market. It also hosts special events, such as Table Italiano, a series of monthly, limited seating, Shared Table dining experiences each featuring the food and wine of a specific region in Italy. Tickets are available for its Veneto tour May 31.
