Hotel Arista and Arista Spa & Salon are the only Illinois properties outside of Chicago to achieve 2022 Forbes Star Awards
Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”), the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, this week announced its 2022 Star Awards. Naperville’s modern luxury boutique, Hotel Arista, earned a Forbes Travel Guide Recommended award, and its Arista Spa & Salon received a Four Star award. They are showcased with other honorees on ForbesTravelGuide.com. The Naperville hotel and spa were the only Illinois properties recognized outside of the City of Chicago.
In addition to its traditional criteria ranging from cleanliness to luxury amenities, FTG Star Awards included sustainability criteria for hotels, first introduced in 2021, and for spas introduced this year. While the system does not give a sustainability rating, the 25 sustainability standards for hotels and six for spas factor in the presentation of its Star Awards.

Forbes Magazine reported in 2021 that 70 percent of travelers said sustainability enhances their vacation experience, and 82 percent indicated the Covid-19 pandemic made them want to travel more sustainably in the future.

This 144-room boutique offers an array of business and social event spaces and, as the tallest building in Naperville, exceptional views from its 12th floor terrace. In addition to its Forbes recommendation, it is the only AAA Four Diamond hotel in Naperville.
