Claudio James Salon which offers luxury hair artistry since 2011 is relocating to CityGate Centre. It will operate out of the Forbes 4-Star Arista Spa & Salon at 2155 CityGate Lane, Suite 201, Naperville. Claudio James Salon will begin offering precision cutting, styling and color services on August 1, according to CityGate Hospitality which manages Hotel Arista, Arista Spa & Salon and several other amenities at CityGate Centre.
“When we met Claudio and learned his core values and that of his business, we knew we had a fit for the culture and service environment Arista is known for,” said Mae Calamos, SVP/COO CityGate Hospitality. “We’re very excited to have his salon operate out of our spa, adjacent to Hotel Arista.”

An entrepreneur and visionary stylist, Claudio James launched his first studio salon in early 2011 in Wheaton, IL. Fueled by passion, he experienced rapid growth: Five years later Claudio James first stand-alone location opened in downtown Lombard, IL.
“At our salon, hair is our art form. I specialize in precision cutting and styling, while Rachael—my trusted colorist since 2012—brings unparalleled expertise in color and styling,” said Claudio James. “We believe hair is a powerful extension of identity, and our mission is to ensure every guest leaves feeling elevated, confident, and authentically themselves.
“We always look for ways to elevate our guest experience so we are very excited to operate out of a Forbes 4-star spa such as Arista; the collaboration will offer our guests an oasis of luxury and relaxation, no longer only in hair, but with Arista’s nail and spa services,” he added. “Our guests followed Claudio James Salon from Wheaton to Lombard and they are very enthused to join us at Arista Spa in Naperville.”
Arista Spa & Salon offers massages, facials, body treatments, manicures & pedicures, and makeup application and waxing. It is a sanctuary designed and inspired by the Mediterranean, blending ancient Mediterranean healing practices with modern innovation. Among its amenities is a calming lounge, saunas, plush robes, slippers, locker facilities and more. It is one of six Forbes 4-Star Spas in Illinois, and the only one outside of Chicago.
