Hotel Arista and Arista Spa & Salon retain Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rating 6 consecutive years
Illinois’ only star-rated hotel & spa outside of Chicago called a “one-of-a-kind green hotel”
In its Official 2019 Star Rating announcement today, Forbes Travel Guide awarded its prestigious Four-Star rating to both Hotel Arista and Arista Spa & Salon. Located in Naperville’s CityGate Centre at Route 59 and Ferry Rd., they are the only Illinois hotel and spa locations outside of Chicago to earn this rating, which they’ve maintained annually since first being reviewed in 2014.
On its Star Rating website, Forbes calls Hotel Arista “a one-of-a-kind green hotel” noting such amenities as Hotel Arista’s nine types of pillows – from a heated lavender neck roll to a full body pillow – its marble bathrooms with walk-in showers and TVs embedded in the vanity mirrors, and its eco-friendliness as the first hotel to be LEED-certified in Illinois.
Highlighted attributes of Arista Spa & Salon include its Grecian inspiration, fireplace in its coed relaxation room, pre-treatment snacks – like house-made granola, yogurt-dipped raisins, dried fruit, cucumber water, lemon water and Tea Forté, the Poseidon shower, and the full-service salon offering exclusive and premium-brand products.

Forbes Travel Guide is the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas. Its anonymous inspectors visit each property and evaluate them based on up to 900 objective criteria. Inspectors’ highlights for Hotel Arista and Arista Spa & Salon are included on Forbes Star Rating website which touts, “We verify luxury.”

Honestly, the service and luxury vibe here easily rival what you would expect on high-end luxury cruises. Whenever I want a top-tier getaway without dealing with ocean waves or booking expensive cruises, this place is my absolute go-to. The spa treatments alone make it completely worth visiting.
