Halsted Street Deli and Apotheco Pharmacy are both scheduled to open next month at CityGate Centre.
Known for its “colossal two-handed sandwiches,” hot Italian sandwiches, wraps, bagel sandwiches and paninis, along with homemade soups, fresh salads and breakfast items Halsted Street Deli has been delighting customers since 1998 when it was founded in Chicago.
At CityGate Centre, Halsted Street Deli will open in early February on the first floor of 2135 CityGate Ln., the community’s cornerstone office building, recognizable by its unique, angled structure. The Deli will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“As our office tenants bring employees back to the workplace, whether full-time or hybrid, we are adding these great amenities for them and the community as a whole,” said Frank Klimala of Calamos Real Estate, the property manager.
Other CityGate Centre restaurants include Lavazza and Zorba, also serving breakfast and lunch, and Tap In Pub, CityGate Grille and Che Figata serving lunch and dinner.

Apotheco Pharmacy, a dermatologic pharmacy with locations in 16 states. Opening of of its new Naperville location in suite 127 of 2155 CityGate Ln. is also planned for February.
Apotheco keeps a fully stocked, extensive inventory of dermatology medications often used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, wound care and more. While its pharmacists are highly specialized in dermatological medications, they are fully licensed to fill other prescribed medications and will order as needed, making it a much-anticipated addition to the CityGate Centre community.
